Do you know? WhatsApp currently has 1.5 billion active users in over 180 countries and 58% of users access WhatsApp several times a day. WhatsApp is just like another instant messaging app that was founded in 2009. Initially, the app was just meant to be used for simple messaging but later it turns out to be a social media giant which now offers services like voice notes, group chats, video calls and much more to come. Currently, WhatsApp is the most popular messaging app available to users and has managed to secure the top position for nearly 10 years.

In addition to their business portfolio, WhatsApp launched its new business app (WhatsApp Business) that was meant for small businesses to better connect to their customers. The app was launched back in January 2018 but only for the android users. However, WhatsApp Business app market penetration can’t be ignored, as it reached to greatest potential in no time. WhatsApp has recently introduced their business app officially in iOS with a vision to target all small scale and medium scale industries to connect better and make secure transactions in the near future. The company has already given their official statement of its launch and started verifying business accounts. A verified business account is given a green checkmark as a means of demonstrating authority.

Moreover, WhatsApp Business application has various other features to support your business such as: setting up a business profile, quick replies, message statistics, automated messages and organizing your contacts through labels. It also is integrated with Facebook pages and helps you add your website and page portfolio to business profile, this later on can translate to more clients contacting you via WhatsApp instead of Facebook as many people prefer the former.

If you already have a WhatsApp account setup is convenient; dial in your number and transfer all your data to the new app. Lastly, this can also enable a person to have two WhatsApp accounts on the same phone for the first time on iOS, you can just use this app as your work profile and use the regular app as your personal profile, the option to opt out of selecting a business does exist now.

WhatsApp is consistently engaging its users and is part of technological evolution and that will always let it have edge over others.
